They say anything is easy when you’ve done it before. I’m sure this is true for many but for me things get a lot easier and more enjoyable when I do things with others. This is especially true if I am trying to learn something new on the computer, a team project or just about anything else. As Rick Warren always says, “We truly are better together.” And when it comes to learning about “How to do small groups more effectively” we all become better when we come together.
For over 25 years I have coached and consulted local churches on how to begin and build a healthy Small Group ministry. As you might imagine the greatest success has come when I was able to visit a church, walk the campus, attend a service, meet the staff and get a sense of what God might do in their community. However, this isn’t always possible, so over the years I have developed a series of 4 audio and DVD based coaching programs that provide the next best thing to being there in person. In some ways I think this is even better because it can be self directed and a lot less expensive. Hundreds of churches have invested in these resources and in some ways “brought the coaching program home.” Kind of like bringing a “Small Group Coach” to you.
Each series is targeted toward a unique customer. It’s difficult to make arrangements to come back to the campus for basic or on-going training. This is the exact reason for the Hosting Lifetogether Training Series on DVD. The Doing Lifetogether Teaching DVD curriculum series provides a “just in time” training system for small group hosts/leaders in addition to timeless principles for leadership. Flexible in a variety of formats including Sunday School, ABF, on campus groups and off campus groups.
Hosting Lifetogether Training Series includes six DVD teaching sessions (15 minutes per session) along with a six-session companion workbook. The following six sessions complete the basic Small Group Training Course.

That being said any Staff or Volunteer Leader could use a portion of the series and teach the rest live or even teach the entire series on their own.
