The work of the Holy Spirit is evident in their congregation as their membership has been growing by over 100 baptized souls for the past several years!  In the past 2 1/2 years, they have continued to grow, even though they were without a Senior Pastor; changed their form of government; paid off over $700,000 in debt; added multiple new staff positions and have been fighting the "worship wars"- traditional verses contemporary.  God is good!!!

Big Things in 2006!

Here are 3 unique things Our Savior Lutheran is doing to develop their healthy small group ministry -

1) Teamed up with 13 area congregations and produced two sermon aligned/small group studies for use within their denomination.  At one time there were almost 120 small groups in their area connected to "The CROSS Given Life"Â

2) Made a dedicated effort to re-develop their small group coaching structure for anticipated growth in 2006.

3) Finished an original DVD based small group study, following the Lifetogether model, for their January launch.  It is likely their best ever!  I'm looking for big things in 2006.
