Simply put, a church-wide campaign is the alignment of the weekend sermon with the small group study. The benefits of an alignment can be dramatic
- Your people take their weekend into their week.
- Your people have a reason to connect in community.
- Your people can go deeper into the weekend message and live it out.
- You have an opportunity to raise up new group leaders.
- Your people will attend more consistently on the weekend (on-campus or online).
- Once your people are connected and cared for, their giving will increase.
- Your people can invite their friends, neighbors, coworkers, and others to do the study with them. This opens up a side door of evangelism.
- Your alignment series can impact other churches and help their people grow.
Your Pastors teaching
An alignment is built on what your people already love — your pastor’s teaching. By shooting six short video sessions, the pastor is invited into their living rooms to give some exclusive content that will deepen your peoples’ understanding of the Bible which will deepen how they apply your pastor’s teaching to their lives.
Your Member stories
Testimony videos set up the question that the pastor will answer. Real life examples offer both encouragement and inspiration to group members. Member stories demonstrate what God can do in the lives of your members and will further motivate them to live out what your pastor is teaching.
Your Production Format
After working with hundreds of pastors for the last couple of decades, we’ve discovered that some video formats are more interesting, and thus more effective, than others. In a pinch, a talking head direct-to-camera will work, but over time this format wears thin. New approaches like the town hall or teaching panel will help keep your videos visually interesting, which will keep your members engaged in your teaching.
Your Leader Training
When you successfully recruit a bunch of new group leaders, you need to train them, but sometimes it’s difficult to get people to meetings. This is why every alignment series we create for churches includes fully scripted leader training that your team can deliver to camera and provide some just-in-time help for new leaders.
Your Church Branding
This is your project. Even if your alignment is built on one of our templates, the last thing you want is something that looks like it was produced by a third party. Think of us as an extension of your team in creating curriculum that is branded to fit your church.
Your Congregational photos
Photos of church life will personalize your study guide. Just like a high school yearbook, your members will be very interested to see who is in your study guide, especially to see where they are!
Your Published Curriculum
While downloadable resources are efficient, there is something about your members holding your book in their hands. They can catch the sense of the work and investment that went into your alignment as well as hand the book to their friends and invite them to grow spiritually.
Your Social Media Library
A great use of your promotional trailers is creating online editions for your members to push out through their social media. This will help their friends and followers connect with your series, your church, and even a group.
Your Shoot Location
You’ve probably seen videos of pastors sitting behind their desks or standing in their pulpits. You might have even made a few of those videos yourself. Your shoot location makes a big difference in the outcome of your video. Whether you choose to shoot in a home, a coffee shop, outdoors, and in our studio in California, you can make a big impact with the setting you choose.
Your Favorite Design
You don’t have to start with a blank piece of paper. After creating alignments for hundreds of churches across the country, our team has designed a wide variety of design templates to simplify the process for you and get the greatest impact out of your series.
